Metro BEST Ride: Season of Sharing

Join LACBC and Metro Bike Share for a family-friendly, winter-themed ride to celebrate the Season of Sharing. Participants are encouraged to bring non-perishable food items or essential goods to be donated to a local pantry.

Acknowledging Victims of Traffic Violence

An unidentified cyclist was killed on 12/09/21. They were 39 years old. 

They were struck around 2:40am on Alondra Blvd by a hit-and-run driver. Suspect has not yet been identified. Information on the crash as well as how to contact authorities with tips here: https://www.laweekly.com/bicyclist-killed-hit-and-run-alondra-boulevard-gardena-ca/ 


An unidentified scooter rider was killed on 12/03/21. They were in their mid-20s. 

The rider was hit near Adams Blvd and Flower Street around 5am by a driver who may have been impaired while behind the wheel. The motorist was detained and an investigation is ongoing. This is a space for Angelenos to remember and honor those who have passed while riding in LA, for whatever reason. If you would like to share a few words about someone you know that passed away while riding, please in this form. We will be sharing a couple of these remembrances in each newsletter.
