We want to hear from YOU!

It's that time of year again!

CiCLAvia returns to DTLA this Sunday, October 10. From 9am-4pm, you can visit LACBC along with our friends Sunset4all and Superpedestrian plus so many more. We hope to see you there!

This Monday, the LACBC "office" will be closed in honor of Indigenous People's Day. Take a self-guided ride from our website like the ones from this year's LA River Challenge or Reconnecting with Paayme Paxaayt to enjoy the outdoors while also learning Native American history.

On September 18, around 4:40am, a 71 year old unnamed cyclist was struck and killed by a driver in Ladera Heights. California Highway Patrol officials said a 2019 Toyota Camry driven by 27-year-old Michael Tesfai was westbound on Centinela Avenue in the number two lane when the bicyclist south on Alvern Street made a right onto westbound Centinela and was struck by the car.

Our thoughts are with their family and friends during this difficult time.

Congratulations to Fabian and Tamara on winning REI bicycles! They were the last two to receive Grand Prizes from the 2021 LA Rivers Challenge. Thank you again to all who participated!
