| Next CicLAvia: Heart of LA on October 10 | | On Sunday, October 10, CicLAvia will host its second event of the year with CicLAvia: Heart of L.A., which will see participants take to the streets on a course that passes through notable locations such as MacArthur Park, Chinatown, Civic Center, and Mariachi Plaza. A celebration of car-free and open streets, the upcoming event will also bear the distinction of taking place on the 11th anniversary of CicLAvia's first-ever event in Los Angeles, which occurred on October 10, 2010. | | | | | |

A cyclist was struck around 6:45am on the 4400 block of Peck Road in El Monte by a southbound driver. The driver remained at the scene. | | | | | | | Unnamed Cyclist, Killed on 8/20/21. Age currently unknown. A cyclist was struck around 3:05am near Pacific & Rose in Venice by the driver of a vehicle who then fled the scene. Officials are looking for the driver of a vehicle described as a black, large-sized SUV, possibly a Chevrolet Suburban. There's a $50,000 reward. | | | | | | |
