Metro is working with local non-profit bike organizations to help make bicycling safer in Los Angeles by conducting bicycle traffic skills classes and sponsoring community rides countywide. These safety education classes and rides are free to the public.

Each month HPB donates proceeds of a special food item to help support nonprofit organizations. For the month of May, LACBC is grateful to be featured!

A portion of the proceeds from Highland Park Brewery's charity tots will be going toward LACBC. This month's charity tots are the pizza tots - tater tots tossed with Italian herb spice, spicy marinara, vegan Parmesan, vegan ricotta, & Calabrian chiles! Adriana Rodriguez, Died on 4/28/21. They were 31 years old. 
Adriana Rodriguez was riding a bike in Lincoln Heights when they were hit by a person driving a vehicle on April 18th. Adriana was taken to the hospital and was on life support for 10 days. Adriana was a mother of five.

Bike Rider in critical condition, Struck on 5/10/21.  
The driver of a maroon Kia Optima traveling eastbound on Florence on Monday 5/10 at 6:55pm hit a bicyclist then fled the scene. The driver continued southbound on Flower Street.
